GoalTally is part of MiniTools, a set of free, single-purpose web tools. It does two connected jobs: it makes printable data sheets matched to how a goal is measured, and it turns session data into a correctly formatted ABA graph with phase-change lines, an aim line, a trend line and a mastery check.
Why we built it
Data sheets tend to be either fixed PDFs that don't match the goal, or part of a full practice-management platform. Many teachers and BCBA students still build graphs in Excel by hand, redrawing phase lines every time data is added, and AI generators often ask for student details. GoalTally takes a narrower approach: configurable sheets, graphs that follow ABA conventions, and no student information leaving your device.
How it works
- Everything runs in your browser. Calculations, graphs, sheets and PDFs are made on your device.
- Saved goals are kept in your browser's local storage. Encrypted backups are created and opened on your device too.
- PDFs are drawn with the open-source jsPDF library, served from this site rather than a third-party CDN.
- After your first visit the tools work offline.
Is it really free?
Yes. Every feature is free, with no paid tier and no ads in the tool. Exported graphs and sheets carry a small “Made with GoalTally” credit, which is how other teachers and analysts find it.
What it isn't
GoalTally isn't a clinical records system and doesn't replace professional judgment. Measurement choices, mastery criteria and treatment decisions belong to the student's team. GoalTally isn't affiliated with any school district, clinic, certification board or software vendor.
